A garage in Grand Rapids, and a stubborn idea
That furniture built properly, by people who answer the phone, outlasts everything else in the room.
From two hands to fifty thousand square feet
Every great company starts with a vision. Ours began more than a decade ago in a garage in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where founder Ryan Rademacher spent evenings and weekends handcrafting custom furniture with one goal — to build exceptional pieces that would last a lifetime.
As demand grew, Ryan’s wife Amanda joined him full-time, bringing her passion for customer service, operations and relationship building. Together they transformed a small woodworking shop into a thriving American manufacturer built on craftsmanship, integrity and an unwavering commitment to their customers.
After years of serving both residential and commercial markets, it became clear that the commercial business deserved its own identity. North Coast Contract was created to do exactly that — built on the same craftsmanship and manufacturing expertise that established Lumber2Love’s reputation, launched as a brand dedicated exclusively to the commercial world.
Today our 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids produces custom conference tables, executive furniture, banquettes, communal tables, hospitality furnishings, millwork and project-specific solutions for clients throughout North America.

Do the right work, treat people the right way, and build furniture that lasts.
Four things we do not trade away
We build relationships the same way we build furniture — to last. When you call, you reach the company that welds the bases and cuts the tops.
Every piece is made to order by the same hands, in the same shop, to the same standard we set in the garage.
Drawings quoted in a couple of days. Ten to twelve week lead times. Freight itemised, never buried.
Contract grade throughout — welded steel, solid hardwood, catalyzed finishes built for rooms that turn tables all night.
Rooms you have probably been in
Restaurants, hotels, corporate headquarters and amenity spaces across North America — specified by designers, dealers and operators who needed something built rather than bought.
Talk to the people who build it
Everything we sell is made in our own shop. When you call, you are talking to the company that welds the bases, cuts the tops and coats the steel — not a distributor placing an order somewhere else.
