Routine maintenance and proper use will help maintain the appearance and performance of your furniture for years to come. The recommendations below are intended for both residential and commercial environments.

WOOD SURFACES

  • Dust regularly with a soft dry cloth or lightly damp microfiber towel
  • Clean spills as soon as possible to minimize moisture absorption or discoloration
  • Protect surfaces with coasters, placemats, and heat-resistant pads
  • Avoid household cleaners containing ammonia, wax, silicone, or harsh chemicals
  • Natural hardwoods may shift slightly in tone, grain appearance, and texture over time due to age and light exposure

METAL COMPONENTS

Steel • Iron • Aluminum

  • Wipe clean using a soft cloth with water or mild soap when necessary
  • Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, or chemical solvents
  • Inspect fastening hardware periodically and tighten if needed
  • Prevent standing moisture or excessive heat exposure on finished metal surfaces
  • Clean spills promptly to help avoid staining or oxidation

LEATHER

  • Remove dust and debris with a vacuum and soft upholstery attachment
  • Use a leather-safe cleaner applied to a microfiber cloth for routine cleaning
  • For deeper cleaning, gently work cleaner into the surface with a soft brush
  • Keep leather away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and heat sources
  • Avoid alcohol-based products, strong detergents, or harsh solvents
  • Variations in color, texture, and markings are natural characteristics of genuine leather hides

STONE + MARBLE

  • Dust frequently using a soft lint-free cloth
  • For general cleaning, use warm water with a mild non-abrasive soap
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry surfaces immediately after cleaning
  • Do not use acidic products, abrasive powders, or commercial spray dusters
  • Use protective pads beneath glasses, dishes, and heated items
  • Natural stone surfaces will vary in veining, movement, and coloration

FABRIC + CANVAS UPHOLSTERY

  • Vacuum routinely using upholstery and crevice tools
  • Mild soap diluted with lukewarm water may be used for general surface cleaning
  • Allow cleaning solution to sit briefly before rinsing and air drying completely
  • Spot clean removable covers with a lightly damp sponge or soft-bristle brush
  • Avoid over-saturating fabrics or using aggressive chemical cleaners

FELT + WOOL MATERIALS

  • Vacuum gently with a non-rotating upholstery attachment
  • Do not aggressively brush or scrub textured wool surfaces
  • Blot spills carefully using a soft white cloth and cool water
  • For tougher spots, use a diluted vinegar-and-water mixture
  • Always dab stains lightly rather than rubbing the material

BRASS DETAILS

  • Clean with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth
  • Avoid abrasive compounds or oil-heavy cleaning products
  • Tighten hardware periodically if applicable
  • Protect surfaces from moisture, heat, and standing liquids
  • Over time, brass may naturally develop a darker aged patina

GLASS + MIRROR SURFACES

  • Use glass-specific cleaning products only
  • Apply cleaner to a microfiber cloth instead of directly onto the glass
  • Finish by buffing with a second dry microfiber cloth for a streak-free appearance
  • Avoid abrasive scrubbers or strong chemical solutions

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

  • Recommended indoor humidity range: 35%–55%
  • Limit prolonged direct sunlight exposure whenever possible
  • Avoid placing excessively hot, wet, or sharp items directly onto finished surfaces
